Gentoo is hard! ... but it will teach you a lot.

The number one thing about Gentoo is that you MUST read the guides, and do research and learn.

The main purpose behind Gentoo is to build it to your liking, and to your hardware.
With other distributions they are built to be generic, and you don't know what options have been turned on or off in a application.

This "Install" guide site will help you with a basic install, and just that.
These guides are really simple to follow if you READ them all the way, if you don't... your on your own.
